Set Up on iPhone

Takes about a minute.

Install

  1. Tap the Download Profile button below.
  2. When prompted, tap Allow.
  3. Open the Settings app. Near the top you'll see Profile Downloaded — tap it.
  4. Tap Install in the upper-right corner, enter your passcode, then tap Install again to confirm.
  5. Tap Done. Your DNS is now encrypted.
⬇ Download Profile

Verify it's working

After installing, go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management. You should see the DNS profile listed there. Your DNS queries are now encrypted and filtering is active.

Disable or re-enable

To temporarily stop using the resolver without removing it:

  1. Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.
  2. Tap the DNS profile.
  3. Toggle it off or on.

Remove completely

  1. Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.
  2. Tap the DNS profile.
  3. Tap Remove Profile and enter your passcode.

Your iPhone will go back to using your default DNS provider.

If sites stop loading

Try toggling Airplane Mode on and off. If that doesn't fix it, the resolver may be temporarily down — disable the profile (steps above) to get back online, and re-enable it later.

Some networks (hotels, airports, corporate WiFi) block encrypted DNS. If a specific network always causes problems, disable the profile while on that network and re-enable it when you leave.
